United Baptist Cemetery

United Baptist Cemetery is a sacred place of remembrance and reflection for members of United Missionary Baptist Church, their families, and the surrounding Gobler community. We honor those who have passed by maintaining a respectful, peaceful sanctuary where their lives and memories continue to be cherished for generations to come.

Burial plot information & fees

Burial plots are available to both church members and non-members. Cemetery fees are established as follows: $250 for church members, $500 for non-members, and $100 for infant burials. To ensure proper identification and dignified care for every resting place, all burials require a permanent marker.

Cemetery rules and guidelines

To preserve the beauty and sanctity of our grounds, we ask all visitors to adhere to our cemetery guidelines:

  • Visiting: Please remain respectful and considerate of other visitors at all times.
  • Decorations: Items should be placed neatly at gravesites; avoid objects that present safety hazards or impede grounds maintenance.
  • Maintenance: Families are encouraged to keep loved ones' gravesites tidy and well cared for.
  • Permanent markers: Every burial requires a permanent marker identifying the deceased.
  • Respect the grounds: Do not damage, alter, or disturb graves, headstones, decorations, or cemetery property.
  • Burial preparations: United Baptist Cemetery is not responsible for the opening or closing of graves.
